Yes, you guessed it. It’s that time of the month again. I am updating you with the wonderful new people who have joined the team at Gragg Advertising.
Annie Thompson graduated from the University of Kansas where she got her degree in Communication Studies. Previous to joining the team at Gragg, she worked on an account service team for an experiential marketing firm in Kansas City. She got to do some pretty sweet things like drive cars around the inside of the Sprint Center, drink gallons of 5Hour Energy (maybe not sweet)… and fly Southwest airlines and make cabin announcements. After she got laid off, she excitedly joined the team here at Gragg Advertising!
Annie is pretty straight forward – work, travel, party, repeat. She also happens to love Italy, white wine, golden retrievers, the Kansas Jayhawks, country music, Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day and a variety of other random things. She does NOT like asparagus, things related to driving, Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day.
Wade Ervin graduated from Kansas State University with dual degrees in Business Management and Marketing. Wade is excited to jump into his first ‘adult job’ but worked a variety of jobs in college, including an assistant at a law firm and a house boy at Alpha Delta Pi. Wades likes keeping busy – participating in a full class schedule, working, volunteering and helping lead his fraternity through a variety of roles, including president.
Wade enjoys playing and watching sports, especially baseball, football and basketball. He also enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and reading.
He can be found doing some kind of athletic activity after work. On the nights and weekends, you’ll probably find him enjoying a cocktail or meal at the plaza or participating in a sporting event.
Minjia Tang is a computer programming expert who learned his skills at the University of Iowa while obtaining his Master of Science degree in Computer Science. After moving to Kansas City in 2009, he began working at Multiservice in Overland Park, KS.
Minjia was born in Shanghai, China. He enjoys sports, video games, reading and hanging out with friends. He’s also planning for a backpacking trip throughout Europe in the near future.
You can find him at the usual locations – gym, coffee shop with friends or at home playing video games or watching TV.
Brad Miller comes to Gragg Advertising with experience in running SEM and SEO campaigns for clients. While working at this smaller agency, he was in charge of overseeing all website projects and was the sole client facing representative!
Watch out because Brad has a tendency to break a lot of bones! We’re not joking; he’s broken all of his fingers, eight of his toes, his shoulder, a rib and has broken his nose FOUR times. Most of these happened while participating in activities that required more athleticism than he was blessed with.
Brad enjoys spending time with his black lab, mountain biking and watching sports. He also enjoys playing video games and sadly has not been able to convince his wife that it would be a good bonding experience.
Calin (Cal) Cooney was selling advertising at a local company before joining the team here at Gragg Advertising. Previous to that he has been attending school at Kansas State University, where he graduated with a degree in Advertising and an emphasis in Business and Marketing. He also minored in Leadership Studies.
Cal has over thirty cousins in the Kansas City area and can often be found at a family event. Besides all those cousins, he also loves traveling, being outdoors and outdoor sports. He can often be found in Westport, at Ponak’s or playing disc golf in Rosedale Park.
