Angela Noles: Account Executive

Meet Angela!

Gragg: Tell us about previous jobs, college or any facts relevant to your career path and how you ended up at Gragg.
Angela: I’ve worked in advertising sales for pretty much my entire career.  For the most part in radio (with a few stints at a rep firm, newspaper, tv and magazine along the way)   I’ve been in KC for about 16 years.  I left Entercom radio a couple of years ago to pursue a new career path.  The main reason for that is because I was dating (and am now engaged to be married to) the VP, Market Manager over those stations.   I’ve been very interested in working on the agency side of the business and was excited when I was contact by a recruiter which lead me to my interview with Gragg.  Happy to be here!  Lots to learn!

Gragg: Any funny information about yourself or your interests?
Angela: I’m from the South.  Georgia to be exact.  Put a few drinks in me, and you’ll start hearing the accent come back.  I’m a big sports fan.  LOVE college football and basketball.  I cheer for my Ga Bulldogs for football but when basketball rolls around I’m all about KU!  Can’t wait to go to Columbia for Mizzou’s opening game in the fall as they welcome my team and my DAWGS welcome them to the SEC!  I’m also a big Chiefs fan (and also a Patriots fan since my hubby-to-be has been a life-long fan)  I love my Royals too!  I have a son who is currently a Marine.  He finishes his 5 years of service in May and will attend KU in the fall which makes Momma very happy that he’ll be close by.  I’m getting married on June 2 for the second and LAST time.

Gragg: What do you like to do?
Angela: I live on a small lake in Shawnee called Lake Quivira.  I spend my summers lounging on the Pontoon boat and floating in the lake with my two Shih Tzu’s (Max and Sammi) while sipping wine and listening to good music.   I wanted to be a food critic when I grew up but that didn’t happen.  So now I just try to go out to nice restaurants for dinner at least once a week.    I consider fine dining a hobby.   My fiancé and I love to travel and do so quite a bit.  Usually to a tropical locale.  I’m always up for a happy hour after work.

Gragg: Where can you can be found at?
Angela: In the office I’m in a temporary spot outside Fred and Gayla’s office.  In cyberspace I’m on Facebook and LinkedIn. In the world, I live at Lake Quivira
